The first step towards immigration to Canada is undertaking the IELTS
examination. IRCC (Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada) tests the
proficiency of the English language through the IELTS and CLB examination and securing
a good score in the examination establishes the proficiency in the language for
the candidate. Thereby, establishing that the candidate will be able to survive
in Canada with the knowledge of English language as it is important to know the
language not only for professional reasons but also for day to day
communication for the individual. English is one the official languages in
Canada and the second most important language in the country is French. Thus, knowledge of at least one language is
very important.

(IELTS)
The process of immigrating to Canada
is highly organized and systematic and one of the most important steps in
migration is undertaking IELTS examination.Establishing your proficiency in the
English language is very important for migration and IELTS helps the candidate
to do just that. IELTS tests the
efficiency of the candidate on the parameters of reading, writing, speaking and
listening. To be eligible for Canada PR status it is important that the
candidate secures a minimum of 6 band but there is also a saving grace for
candidates who fail to secure the minimum band requirement as the eligibilitycriteria through Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) offers flexibility to the
candidates. Provinces like Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan asks for a low IELTS score
as low as 4.5 thus such candidates can get a PNP PR status for migrating to
Canada.
